Apparently, someone thought it would be hilarious to set my clock to a different time zone. My biological clock, that is. I fell asleep at ~6:30 last night, and awoke at 1:45 AM this morning. The same thing happened Wednesday, as well. Either I’m in freaking Greenland (the time zone with which I seem to be in sync), or all those years of snorting Ritalin are finally catching up to me.
But the inherent screwed-up-ness (<- that’s a word; shut up.) of the situation doesn’t stop it from being rad. I get to sleep longer, which is an obvious plus, and I also get to be on the computer at 2 AM, a hobby of mine even when I don’t go to sleep at 6. It also gives me hours before I have to at school, which makes it that much easier to not snap and start throwing math books and lighting desks on fire.
But it takes a little getting used to. Which is why I found myself looking for stuff to do this morning. And I actually got a lot done. School makes me lazy, but, apparently, before school I can be quite productive. I found my iPod (it’s been missing in my room for a few days), synced all the music I’ve accumulated in the last few months onto my it, charged my phone, got more coding done on my MySpace, reorganized all the files on my hard drive, found the password to my blog, and wrote my first blog post. All I get done after school is learning kickflips and coming up with excuses I haven’t heard before to tell myself when I want to procrastinate on doing my homework.
My MySpace should be fixed for Internet Exploder- err… Explorer, real soon, and I’m going to start blogging regularly, if only to keep up on my writing skills. I also hope that soon I will get meandmypants.com to redirect to this blog, at least until I can start paying for server space and I can actually code a website.
It’s now 5:42. I have to take a shower, get dressed, go to school, and sit through 4 hours of quadratic formulas and cubic regressions, also known as “Algebra 4″…
At least I get to take the city bus all the way home…
